Loredana Furno is an Italian ballerina and choreographer. Born in Turin, she studied architecture for two years and then started dancing under Susanna Egri. After a beginning as a soloist in numerous shows under Susanna Egri, she  joined the corps de ballet of La Scala and toured through Europe. In 1964 she became the prima ballerina at Teatro Regio in Turin. In 1977 Furno founded her own company, Teatro de Torino, staging new works as well as the classics.

Massimo Scaglione (1931 - 2015) was a theatre, radio and TV director. Among his works are Mocambo Bar, which launched the singer songwriter Paolo Conte; the television drama Albert Einstein, Il versificatore (an adaptation of Primo Levi's text); the parody of  I promessi sposi, by Manzoni performed by Lopez - Solenghi - Marchesini and several opera adaptations. Together with Gipo Farassino he  was also a supporter of the revival of Piedmontese.  Scaglione was married to the ballerina Loredana Furno.

Massimo Scaglione (1931 - 2015) fu un regista teatrale, radiofonico e televisivo. Noti sono i suoi adattamenti teatrali, i suoi sceneggiati tra cui Albert Einstein. il Versificatore, tratto da Primo levi; la parodia de I Promessi sposi interpretata dal trio Lopez Marchesini Solenghi. Lo spettacolo televisivo Mocambo Bar  lanciò il cantautore Paolo conte. Insieme con Gipo Farassino fu un sostenitore della rinascita del dialetto piemontese. Era sposato con la ballerina classica Loredana Furno.

Torino - Almost at the opposite end [she is referring to Trieste] of the Northern part of the country is Torino. Its baroque and belle époque marvels had long remained hidden under the more recent industrial past, but in the past few years the first capital of Italy has been shining again. Among the highlights are the “Mole Antonelliana” (symbol of the city and location of the Cinema Museum), Palazzo Carignano (first seat of the Italian parliament), the Royal Palace and the second world best Egyptian Archaeology Museum. Between a museum and a historical building, make sure you take a break to walk along the Po river in the Valentino park and to sip a bicerin(glorious hot drink made with coffee, chocolate and cream) in one of the nineteenth-century cafés decorated with mirrors and crystal chandeliers.

Torino - Quasi all'estremità opposta [di Trieste] nel nord Italia c'è Torino. Le sue bellezze che risalgono al Barocco e alla Belle époque sono state per lungo tempo nascoste dal più recente passato industriale, ma in questi ultimi anni la prima capitale d'Italia ha iniziato nuovamente a splendere. Tra le sue gemme si possono ammirare la Mole Antonelliana (simbolo della città e sede del Museo del Cinema), Palazzo Carignano (prima sede del parlamento Italiano), il Palazzo Reale e il Museo Egizio, secondo al mondo. E mentre si visita un museo e un monumento storico, si può fare  una pausa e camminare lungo il Po nel Parco del Valentino e sorseggiare un bicerin (una famosa bevanda calda fatta con caffè, cioccolato e crema) in uno dei bar ottocenteschi decorati con cristalli e candelieri.

The story is set in San Francisco ....one of the cities belonging to the black triangle with Turin and London. Present time. The vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac tells his story to a journalist. In 1791 Louis is the owner of the Pointe du Lac plantation, south of New Orleans. His wife dies while she giving birth to their son and Louis is desperate. He is approached by the vampire Lestat who offers him to become a vampire; Louis accepts. The novel was made into a movie, Interview with the Vampire (1994), directed by Neil Jordan.

Per ciò che riguarda il gotico proprio oggi nasceva nel 1941 Anne Rice, autrice di Intervista col vampiro (1976), famoso libro poi diventato film con la regia di Neil Jordan nel 1994. Ambientato ai giorni nostri  in San Francisco - città magica insieme con Londra e Torino appunto -  il libro parla del vampiro Louis de Pointe du Lac che racconta la sua storia ad un giornalista. Louis è un grande proprietario terriero a sud di New Orleans. Sua moglie muore dando alla luce il loro figlio. Louis disperato si rivolge al vampiro Lestat che gli offre di farlo diventare un vampiro e Louis accetta....
